Moab is always the best way to kick off a vacation. This year we visited the iconic Delicate Arch on our first official day of summer vacation.

Delicate Arch, Moab, UT

Meet Wella, Jackie's new best friend. The deal was, if J passed her math final with an A, she could get an American Girl Doll. Not only did this 4th grader get an A, she got 100%, ON HER 6th GRADE MATH FINAL! We had to pay up. Wella will be joining us for some fun this summer. I'm happy to take her along. The first stop for anyone visiting Moab for the 1st time has to be Delicate Arch.

I can't count how many times we've been to Delicate Arch, but it's like magic every time.

Moab was 90 degrees, with no rain or clouds in the forecast, so we packed up early and hit the trail. So did everyone else in Moab, so we waited in line to get into the park. Luckily the arch wasn't too crowded.
